Silvery Bronze Ritual Tripod Covered Vessel, China, Shang-style, cylindrical with chained handle, resting on three anthropomorphic form feet, decorated with patterned bands in bas-relief, the body with two taotie mask knobs alternating with two loophole knobs for the handle, the domed cover with flaring finial and a two-character inscription on the underside, ht. 9 3/8, with handle up, 11 in.
