Turned Maple and Pine Table, Massachusetts, c. 1700, with rectangular top on vase- and ring-turned legs and stretchers joining the skirt with a drawer, later red paint, ht. 26 1/2, wd. 49, dp. 26 3/4 in.
Provenance: Roger Bacon, Exeter, New Hampshire.

Pine top is old with dents, scratches and staining consistent with age and wear. Visible oxidized screws and one protruding wooden peg. Separation between boards. Red-painted maple base doesn't appear to be as old as the top.
