Painted Chest over Drawers, Old Saybrook/Guilford, Connecticut, area, late 17th/early 18th century, the top opens on snipe hinges above a well and single arch-molded case with two drawers below, applied lower molding and modern ball feet, old painted surface of red and white foliate designs under varnish, overall ht. 43 1/2, wd. 38 1/2, dp. 17 1/2 in.
