Kawase Shinobu (b. 1950) Celadon Covered Box, Japan, circular form with banded rim, the cover curved slightly outwards toward the edge and rising to form a spindle-shape knob toward the center, brown rims, visible wisps of crackling particularly to the cover, with signed box, ht. 1 1/2, dia. 4 1/2 in.
