Buzz Aldrin's EVA at the Agena work station, Gemini 12, November 1966. Numbered 'NASA S-66-62939' in red on the recto u.l. margin, NASA MSC caption on the verso. Vintage chromogenic print on fiber-based Kodak paper with 'A Kodak Paper' watermark on the verso, image size 7 1/4 x 9 1/2 in. (18.3 x 24.0 cm),unmatted.
Condition: Minor emulsion loss to u.l. margin.
N.B. Aldrin made three spacewalks during the mission and logged a total of five and a half hours outside, proving that astronauts could perform useful work in the vacuum of space without becoming exhausted (Chaikin, Space, p. 70).
