Carved and Polychrome Painted and Marblized Mantelpiece, Maryland, c. 1810, with deep molded carved cornice above a frieze composed of carved circular fans and quarter-fans flanked by vase- and ring-turned urns bordered by circle and sawtooth blind fret, all supported by pairs of ring-turned reeded freestanding columns on plinths, old surface, overall ht. 63, wd. 84 1/2, firebox ht. 41, wd. 49 1/2 in.
