Pair of George V Sterling Silver Candlesticks, London, 1917-18, Crichton Brothers, maker, each monogrammed, with an urn-form sconce, removable bobeche on a slender vasiform stem terminating in a square acanthus-capped and weighted foot with engraved presentation inscription to underside, ht. 10 7/8 in.

Monogrammed and with engraved presentation inscription to underside of foot. Scattered minor nicks and abrasions (particularly to foot). One internal base of sconce pushed in slightly (not noticeable from exterior),bobeche sits a little higher (again unobtrusive). Each rock very slightly (still stable).
