Richard Powis Mahogany Bracket Clock with Alarm, 36 Rosoman Street, London, c. 1810, highly figured veneered arch-top case with brass bail handle at top, fish-scale frets to the front and sides, 7-in. roman numeral silvered dial marked Richard Powis London, strike/silent lever above, engraved central alarm disc, eight-day twin-fusee time and hour strike movement, engraved rear plate with scallop edge decoration, pull repeat cord and alarm functioning cord on side, engraved pendulum bob with wood-handled winding key, ht. 16 in.
