Model 1840 Cavalry Saber, Scabbard, and Belt Plate, c. mid-19th century, brass hilt with two side branches, wire-wrapped leather grip, steel blade marked P.S. JUSTICE/PHILADA, a steel scabbard with two carrying rings, attached to one of the rings is a Model 1851 belt plate, blade lg. 35 1/2, overall lg. 41 in.
Provenance: Sold to benefit the preservation of the collections of the Danvers Historical Society.

In good condition with some patina on the blade and scabbard.
