Eagle Pommel Saber and Scabbard, c. early 19th century, silver-plated brass hilt with an eagle pommel, and bone grip, blade with fire blue and gilt foliate designs, and panoply of arms, marked R.J. BROWN/& Co/BOSTON, and a silver-plated brass scabbard with one remaining carry chain, blade lg. 32 1/2, overall lg. 38 in.

Provenance: Sold to benefit the preservation of the collections of the Danvers Historical Society.

Has age appropriate patina on the hilt and scabbard, the backstrap is a little lose, blade is in very good condition, and the bone on the grip is missing a few small pieces.
