Pen and Ink Drawing of Mystic Hill Seminary, unsigned, West Medford, Massachusetts, c. 1855-59, the pen and inkwash on paper with gouache highlights drawing depicting a two-story building identified as "MYSTIC HALL" above four columns, the building flanked by a two-story house on the right and a three story Federal-style building on the right, the foreground having a group of women on galloping horses and title "MYSTIC HALL SEMINARY.," all mounted in its probable original wood grain painted frame, ht. 12 3/8, wd. 14 3/4 in., (minor imperfections).
Note: The Mystic Hall Seminary was a school for girls that only existed between February 1855 and June 1859.
