Louis XVI-style Parquetry-veneered and Ormolu-mounted Worktable, late 19th/early 20th century, the circular inset frame surrounded by four small demilune compartments, raised on four ormolu-mounted legs joined by a low shelf on four splayed, hoof-form sabots, ht. 29, wd. 19 in.

Repaired and restabilized joints both between knees and upper shelves, as well as the joints to lower shelf. Several repaired breaks in along the brackets to the underside of the top and joint to lower shelf. One lower joint now loose, causing the stand to be unsteady. Scattered veneer cracks and minor chips and patches. Minor nicks and abrasions. Minor breaks to ormolu (one area around the knee and several to the leaves around the frieze).
