Blue and White Bottle with Persian Silver Mount, China, Qing Dynasty, for export, the triple gourd form with an elongated neck, the lower register decorated with an assortment of scholar's objects, the middle and upper registers decorated with a peony motif, also decorated with a ruyi-head border at the base of the neck and a chrysanthemum detail on the neck of the bottle, stopped with a silver Persian-style screw-cap finial, ht. 11 1/2 in.
