The Plough Horses, 1652, possibly an 18th century impression. Signed and dated within the plate. Etching on laid paper with figural watermark, plate size 6 1/4 x 9 1/2 in. (13.8 x 24.1 cm),framed.
Condition: Thread margins, very pale fox marks, subtle toning, pencil and ink annotations to verso, glue/residue to verso at upper corners.
Provenance: Sotheby's New York, Sale 7717, Lot 148, November 3, 2001; to a private Massachusetts collection.
