WucaiBox with Dragons and Phoenixes, China, 20th century, oblong box rounded at the four corners, resting on raised foot, decorated on the longer sides with two dragons chasing a flaming pearl above rolling waves and the shorter sides, a phoenix, raised border to the rim, the lid with identical shape and decoration with the slightly convex top, all painted in underglaze blue and overglaze green, iron red, and yellow, six-character Wanli mark on recessed base, 9 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 4 1/8 in.
