Large Grueby pottery vase in green glaze with broad overlapping leaves alternated by buds with trailing stems, marked on base, Grueby Pottery, Boston, U.S.A., ht. 11 1/2, fitted with a domed shade composed of a mosaic of slag glass, autumnal leaves with shaped lower border joined by struts to three-socket mount with patinated metal font and electrical cord that fits in base, shade unmarked, dia. 18 1/4 in.
