Chinese Export Silver Trophy Cup, Shanghai, late 19th, Tuck Chang & Co., makers, the ovoid body chased and embossed with figures on a portico, with small central shield engraved as the Tientsin Cup, with addorsed dolphin-form handles, the lid with finial formed as a cluster of foo dogs, on stem form as a cluster of writhing dragons, three suspending orbs from their mouths, on ovoid knop and tiered foot with leaftip rim, ht. 12 3/4 in., approx. 41 troy oz.
