Jade Covered Jar and Stand, China, 18th/19th century, Ch'ien Lung mark on the base, the stand marked Ping Yu Shu Shuang Chih Yu, the finial carved with dragons and clouds, the top carved with scholars viewing a scroll, the body carved in relief with scholars riding to a mountain retreat, lion-mask handles, jump rings, and chains, (fissure to the inside of the mouth, lines to two jump rings, all resealed),ht. 15 in.
