Asian Works of Art

Skinner's June auction of Asian Works of Art was a phenomenal success.  The auction grossed over $4.8 million and was Skinner's highest grossing Asian auction to date.  Extremely strong bidding from the floor, phones and internet resulted in top prices for rare jades and works of art from China, Korea, Japan, and Tibet.  The top lot in the auction was a large jade vase from China, which brought $578,000.  Skinner is now accepting consignments for its fall 2010 auction of Asian works of Art.  For more information on consigning your Asian pieces with Skinner, please contact the department at 508-970-3255 or via email at asian@skinnerinc.com.
