Skinner’s November auction of American Furniture and Decorative Arts boasts more than 700 lots of fine American furniture, folk art, paintings, portraiture, pottery and more.  Featured is the estate of N. David (Nino) Scotti, founder of Associated Appraisers, Inc. of Providence, RI.  His estate of more than 200 lots is representative of his discerning eye and spans 45 years of collecting.  Other auction offerings include early Americana marine paintings, including a work by William Bradford, weathervanes, naïve portraiture, Federal furniture, a Chippendale chest-on-chest from the Connecticut Valley, and good selection of fine clocks.
